Who are we and what the hell is going on here? I'm sure that question has crossed many minds at this point so here it goes...
Tyler has been tattooing since the 90's when he got his start just outside of NYC. He then spent the 2000's tattooing in Pittsburgh before we started our adventure together. He is a musician, painter, drawer, ink worker, tattooer, bone artist, sculptor, wood worker and a multimedia artist. Honestly he does a bit of everything and I'm probably missing something. He may pop on from time to time but making music and creating art are more his thing. Terra (me) is the writer and I'll fill you in more on that in a minute. Tyler is currently on a ink and water color kick but like any artist will jump around to other mediums from time to time. We will be opening a private tattoo studio and gallery summer 2019 on our farmland in rural Chautauqua. He specializes in custom designs and cover ups but after 21+ years if you want it he can do it. He has a real affinity for bio-organic, bio-mech and black & grey work.
Terra (me) is the one with the words. My classical art skills are lacking but I have an eye for photography and a way with words. I know my way around a kitchen and have a natural DIY streak. I am a celiac so my recipes though tasty also happen to be gluten free. I have been cooking my whole life and have taken many classes to advance my skills as I honed my craft. My mom always asked me to become a chef but honestly I was afraid if I did it for a living I wouldn't want to cook for my family which is far more important to me. I didn't want to burn out. So my passion for food, flavor, experimentation and research are leading me to create a kitchen encyclopedia of sorts that I can promise will become your next must have in the kitchen. I am doing all the research for you and will have a place for you to go to answer all of your questions. Yes, I know we all have Google for that but hey if the power goes out, internet goes down or like me just like to look in a book sometimes this will be the book for you. I will also have it available for download and eventually an app. I have dyed my hair every color of the rainbow and more so from time to time I may have some tips on that. (If anyone needs tips let me know and I will do a blog on it). I love to research stuff, it's my thing. I am OCD in nature and need to keep stuff organized around me(my poor husband). I am a reviewer, what can I say I like free stuff and I like to give my opinion on things it's a win/win.
We met in 2011 in Pittsburgh, PA and started our whirlwind adventure together shortly there after. We found our selves in Ashville, NC for a minute and then Columbus, OH for a few years well we got married, had a family and found a house in Chautauqua. We've been here for a few years now and are finally settling in to the Eb and flow of country life. Its quiet, calm and a lot slower out here which is a nice break after years of city life. I am not a farmer or a gardener by any means and do my best to harvest the natural bounty on our land but can't even manage that some seasons. We are Jack's of all trades masters of none but we have gained a hell of a lot of to do and not to dos along the way and will happily share them with you so hopefully you have even slightly more success than we did at the project at hand. We try and keep it upbeat though frustrations may happen along the way.
